Hyundai i30 1.4 GDI (2017-2020) Remap

Having spent a large amount of time developing a range of performance products for the Hyundai I30N we have now been developing new product for other engines in the Hyundai range. So here Forge Motorsport have developed an ECU performance re map for the Hyundai I30 1.4 GDI 2017-2020. 

Our fully re-calibrated engine management system, provides significant increases to both power and torque. This customised ECU mapping uses our bespoke software which we has been developed on the road to improve real world driving, more power is produced throughout the rev range improving drivability and offering a broader power band to exploit the superb chassis dynamics of the 1.4 GDI engine.  

Unlike other map’s on the market for this vehicle, we have tried to dial the torque down at lower RPM as to not unsettle the Hyundai coming out of tighter corners and to avoid increasing the dreaded wheel hop which effects all i30’s. What we have created is a stronger power delivery from 3000 RPM all the way up to the top of the rev range, its beautifully linear for a turbocharged engine and transforms the Hyundai i30 into the hottest of hot hatches. 

Our stage one ECU calibration for the 1.4GDI vehicles allows power and torque to be increased from Hyundai’s claimed 140bhp/242Nm to over 170bhp and 290Nm. 

The service takes around 2 hour and we would need your vehicle at our Gloucester HQ. While your vehicle is in the workshop for ECU software why not take advantage of out technicians and add some of Forge Motorsports UK manufactured performance products to be installed at the same time. 

For best results we recommend using 99 Octane fuel such as Shell V Power, Esso Synergy Supreme + or Tesco Momentum, however, as we map to suit your car as it is presented on the day, we can also map for 97 Octane BP Ultimate at a slightly reduced power output.
