Forge Motorsport have developed this open-cone performance intake system for the Honda Civic Type R (FK8) offering significantly increased induction noise, a very healthy increase in performance throughout the midrange and at the top end +13.6 Bhp and +30 Nm of torque on the test vehicle.
The intake features a CNC machined billet MAF housing and high quality 4 ply silicone hoses in either black or red colour options. The hoses have been constructed with a ‘smooth bore’ design to reduce turbulence within the intake hose and maximise air flow as shown below:
Recesses within the walls of the silicone hoses fit the shape of the machined tube.
The kit is supplied with:
- 1x Pipercross air-filter.
- 1x CNC Billet MAF housing.
- 2x Silicone hoses.
- 5x Hose clamps
- 1x Mounting bracket.
- All fixings required.
